Two Qualifications, Projects with 18 Companies, and Studies in English: The Unique Advantages of the International Bachelor's in Business and Economics
The International Bachelor's in Business and Economics opened at HSE University-St Petersburg a year ago. The programme offers English-taught studies in both economics and management at the same time. It is supported by corporate partners: VK, Gazprom, Sberbank, and others. Victor Krakovich, Academic Supervisor of the programme, explains how the educational process in the programme is structured.
Students of 'International Bachelor’s in Business and Economics' to Analyse Products of Partner-Companies
For two months, first-years will work closely with the programme's partners. Among them are VK, 'Gazprom', 'Sberbank', Tele2, 'Business Solutions and Technologies', 'Technologies of trust', Kept, 'Samolet', Setl City, 'Geropharm', 'Northern Capital Gateway', Alexandrinsky Theatre, Fabergé Museum, 'Bookvoed' and many others. This is the first fieldwork for students. The projects presentation will take place at the end of May.
Cultural Events in Economic Reflection
From July 7 – 13, 2014, the Laboratory of Economics of Culture at the HSE in St. Petersburg held an International Summer School "Impacts of Cultural Events on Small and Medium-size Art-oriented Towns" (ICE – SMART). This was the first summer school organized as part of the master’s programme "Experience Economy: Hospitality and Tourism Management".
An Academic Approach to Cultural Tourism
The International Summer School, ‘Impacts of Cultural Events on Small and Medium-size Art-oriented Towns,’ has begun. Participants of the School include alumni of the Experience Economy: Hospitality and Tourism Management Master’s Programme, undergraduates and graduate students of HSE’s Moscow campus, as well as students, young lecturers and researchers from various universities in Poland, Slovenia, Kyrgyzstan, South Africa, and Japan.
