Aditi Koomar and Shreyak Tare are exchange students from Indian Institute of Management Raipur, a partner university of HSE-Nizhny Novgorod. They are pursuing a Master's degree in Management with a major in Marketing and Human Resource. They have come from Kerala, a southern Indian state, to Nizhny Novgorod for three months to study Brand Management and Marketing of Innovations at the Faculty of Management. Sara Olmi of International Students’ Club has talked to Aditi and Shreyak about their impressions and exchange experience.

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor at the HSE Faculty of Humanities’ School of History, and Professor Emeritus at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. In March, the International Center for the History and Sociology of World War II and Its Consequences at HSE welcomed Eleonor Gilburd, Assistant Professor of the History and the College at the University of Chicago. Professor Gilburd presented her book 'To See Paris and Die: The Soviet Lives of Western Culture' which deals with the history of translation, cultural diplomacy and exchange and the interpretation of Western texts by Soviet audiences in the mid-20th century. She spoke to HSE News Service about her research.

International Students Invited to Apply to HSE’s Doctoral Schools

Admissions to tuition-free doctoral studies at HSE open on February 01, 2018. International students can choose from 15 PhD programmes in fields ranging from Mathematics to Art and Design. The programmes are offered at HSE campuses in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod. It is not necessary to speak Russian in order to pursue a PhD at HSE – the thesis can be written in English. Several international students are already pursuing doctoral degrees at HSE and one of them, Keunwon Choi from South Korea, has shared his impressions with us.
