Applications for Competition of Innovations in Education Are Open
The HSE Institute of Education is the main organizer of the international Competition of Innovations in Education. In addition to the Russian track, the competition is also being held in Kazakhstan, as well as in Armenia and Georgia. Applications are open online until October 21st, 2022. The overall winner will receive an educational grant, while the category winners will receive prizes from our partner organisations.
Registration Open for 2023 HSE International Olympiad
The HSE International Olympiad (HSE INTO) is one of HSE University’s largest international projects. Winners of the competition can receive full tuition wavers for their studies and study at HSE University for free. The registration deadline is September 30.
Student Research Paper Competition 2022 Now Open at HSE University
The start of a new academic year is an excellent time to plan the next steps in your academic career. On September 1, HSE University announced the start of its annual Student Research Paper Competition (SRPC-2022). Participation is open to students of Russian and international universities and to 2022 graduates. Last year, a total of 2,196 papers were submitted to the SRPC, of which 435 were from external participants.
HSE University and Central Bank of Russia to Hold Autumn School in ESG
The HSE Graduate School of Business (GSB) and the Central Bank of Russia are launching the competitive selection of participants for a partner project: the Autumn School in ESG Transformation of the Finance Sector. The Russian-language event for HSE University students will be held from September 27–30, 2022 at the Graduate School of Business campus on Shabolovka.
Applications for Online Master of Finance Open Until September 20
The application deadline for the HSE Banking Institute’s online, English-taught Master of Finance programme has been extended to September 20. The programme attracts students from Russia, Ukraine, China, South Korea, Serbia, Germany, the US, Kazakhstan, and others.
‘The Project Competition Will Kickstart New Research Collaborations’
HSE University has announced the launch of a project competition in basic science research for intercampus departments of the university. The competition is aimed at supporting research as part of the HSE University Development Programme for the Period until 2030.
HSE University Launches Its First Cross-Campus Bachelor’s Programme

Telling Stories Festival to Be Held outside Moscow for the First Time
The Telling Stories Festival of Creative Industries is a non-profit project created in 2018 by HSE Faculty of Communications, Media and Design. This summer, for the first time, the festival won’t be held in Moscow, but, instead, will unite and expand the creative communities in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan. The capital of Tatarstan will host guests on June 11th, with an exhibition, free lectures, and concerts in some of the main venues around the city.
