The HSE School of Mass Media Project Production is launching a new mobile app, XCE FACTOR, for an online talent show. The project team spoke with the HSE News Service about their new app, mental health factors, and dreams of Netflix.

The concert, ‘Music of the Spirals of History’, which was held on February 20 at HSE’s Cultural Centre on Pokrovka, featured the HSE Symphony Orchestra  along with visual effects produced by the educational project ‘Classical Music in Focus’. The project aims to bring classical music to a new generation of music lovers. The sold-out musical event was open to the public.

Students of the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs celebrated the Lunar New Year. The festivities, which were held at HSE’s Cultural Centre on Pokrovsky Boulevard, included a concert with traditional dance and Korean folklore skits.

The fifth international Geography Test was recently held in 110 countries around the world. HSE University hosted the event for the first time. HSE News Service spoke with some of the participants who came to test their knowledge of the earth and its geography.

HSE University is not only about studying and hard work. Every year since 2012 we hold a university-wide celebration, HSE Day, which transforms Moscow's famous Gorky Park into a large university campus. Come to the park to meet HSE University up close - you can talk to students and staff, attend lectures and workshops, and take part in a wide range of activities. An advent calendar with gifts is usually seen as a source of entertainment for children, but away with conventions. Everyone loves to receive presents, but HSE loves to give them. Each day between December 1st and 24th, the windows of a virtual calendar will display links to some of HSE’s most interesting courses, lectures, and events set to take place soon, as well as recordings from past events. The result will be 24 presents for absolutely everyone to enjoy.
