On September 13, the annual HSE Day will take place in Gorky Park. This is an exciting event, open to people of all ages and backgrounds. Every year, the choice of activities becomes longer and longer. Find out here what’s on offer – there’s something for everyone.

On December 21^st  Master's programme in Applied Social Psychology organized the 4^th annual All Cultures Day at the School of Psychology. International students from many faculties and schools, including Preparatory year students, gathered to celebrate HSE’s multicultural environment and the Russian New Year.

On November 27, HSE celebrated its 25th birthday with Anniversary Night (because an average birthday party would have been rather dull). The celebration featured an entire array of different activities, and HSE students themselves came up with the evening’s programme. Anniversary Night began with the finale of the Research Battles, and from 8:00 p.m. onward, the grand ‘Night’ festival by Ingroup CTC continued. On September 14, the Higher School of Economics is again welcoming guests at Moscow’s Gorky Park to celebrate HSE Day – an extraordinary event that has become a tradition of citywide proportions. HSE Day has a lot to offer for everyone and is open to international students and faculty members.

The first official fun-run organized by HSE as part of events to mark the 25^th anniversary of its founding has taken place in Gorky Park. It drew 290 participants.

On June 4, 2017, the international culture festival ‘The Whole World at HSE’ will take place at Shabolovka as part of our anti-versary celebrations.

Run √25, the first fun run organized by HSE, will take place on May 28 at Gorky Park. Our University is now 25 years old, and we’ll run 5 km together to celebrate this anniversary (or rather, our ‘anti-versary’) - along Pushkinskaya Naberezhnaya and Andreevskaya Naberezhnaya, from the Green Theatre to Luzhnetsky Bridge, and back again. Think of it as running from the darkness of ignorance, unbelievable stupidity, and bad grades as fast as we can!

In December 2016, an orchestra was formed at HSE whose musicians include both lecturers and students – and not only from HSE. The artists, who are mastering a broad repertoire from classical operas to film soundtracks, are preparing to play at non-university venues and are inviting new participants to join them.
