Students of the first cohort of the HSE’s online Master of Data Science are now completing their first semester. Offered entirely online on Coursera, the programme attracts students from all over the world. As part of an agreement signed by HSE University and the State Hermitage in July 2019, the museum will become a partner of HSE–St. Petersburg’s Master’s programme in Arts and Culture Management. Hermitage staff will teach courses in the programme. The agreement also provides for joint projects and student internships at the museum.
HSE University Ranks Third Among Russian Law Schools for Graduates’ Salaries
HSE University has risen from fourth to third place in the Superjob University Ranking in terms of the salaries made by young professionals in the legal field who graduated in 2014–2019. According to the ranking’s authors, our graduates can expect to earn an average of 100,000 rubles a month in Moscow.
Student Internship Programme at the
In April 2020, the Institute for Applied Political Studies (IAPS) launched an internship programme. Programme interns work together with Institute staff on joint projects, as well as acquire new research and communication skills. 40 students are currently participating in the programme

HSE University alumni working in economics and finance, earn an average of 115,000 rubles a month in their first five years of work after graduation. This is the second best result among universities, according to data from the Superjob job search website.
HSE Among Top Three Russian Universities with Highest Number of Subjects in Shanghai Ranking
Among Russian universities, HSE University has the second highest number of subjects to be included in the Shanghai subject ranking (Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2020). HSE University and ITMO University, respectively, are included in 7 subject rankings, while Moscow State University is represented in 12 subject rankings.
